Letter from a fan. - October 28, 2007

I love getting letters from people that support what it is that I am doing. This one came in the other day and I thought it was great, so i decided to post it.

Here it is:

"I played "Sunlight Through Eyelids" from your album THE DEPRESSED
AMERICAN DREAM on WOMR FM in Provincetown, Ma. It was on the show THE
LATEST SCORE on Tuesday October 23, 2007. Be sure I will play from
this music again. I have just cleaned out my CD collection and I can
see what I have. Yours stayed on the shelf."

Canary:

Thank you.

Listener review for "Bottom Feeder" on redfizz.com - October 12, 2007

I decided to post a track to redfizz.com. In so doing, there is this feel that I am "asking permission" for making music -- of which I do not and never have. When artists post to sites like redfizz.com or garageband.com, they are seen as asking for opinions on finished album cuts, which makes me laugh because sites like these are so very lame in nature. They do not reflect actual people that I would want into (t) nds.

Anyway, I decided to post a recent review:
----------------------------------------------------------------------------
Rated 4 and one-half stars out of 5 stars:

What only two comments on this? I can't believe this was "rejected." There is a part of this reminiscent of that cool new-wave in the early 80's-but mixed with other more recent influences...An interesting listen for me...I enjoyed that classy touch of piano at the end...Nine Inch Nails inspired, maybe, but I liked this. Very rich layers and textures. So many small touches that worked so well together. Awesome flow to it. It's like something that if I'd heard it coming over my radio from the local college, I'd be glued to...Weird, wild and well-recorded. Cool lyrics and vocals, insistant and engaging music...This here's the real deal...I wanna hear it!

Nommo Records has "Species Protector" streams available. - September 7, 2007

Our friends at Nommo Records just released three of our songs as streams on their website. We are saving the big unveiling for The Tech God and his show "The Edge" on Nowlive.com on the 12th, but we felt it only proper to give Nommo a chance to play some of our tracks. After all, we love and respect them deeply so it only felt right.

Copelinn Muzik Works. - August 25, 2007

I just started my own publishing company which will serve as a label as well. The company is a legal and registered entity and will be home to everything that is related to Copelinn -- my music and author work. So, you can expect naturally to hear more about this as things progress in a business sense.

Species Protector is coming soon.

Species Protector release date: - August 21, 2007

A short rant by Copelinn. - August 17, 2007

First off, I love (t) nds fans. You guys are the best and I would never even think overwise. It is with you (the fans) I opt to share my disdain for shitty people and shitty clubs. I am a DJ, so I work in clubs all the time. Being an indie artist, I deal with people all the time. Being educated, I know how to talk to people and have a fruitful and decent conversation when desired or required. That said, why is it that useless doing-nothing people need to ruin my day almost constantly?

I get that many managers in nightclubs are students of the "Joseph Stalin School of Management", but why is it that seemingly every fucking nightclub only employs total dickbags? Why is it that Big Brother (the club owners) employ a fucking telescreen and hire The Thought Police to handle matters that do not exist? Granted, I have been reading Orwell's "1984" and I am a bit irritated with the current state of the job market after reading Edrenreich's "Nickel and Dimed", but why is it that people gotta make things harder than they are? Why is it that even if you DO WHAT YOU HAVE BEEN TOLD TO DO there is still a fucking issue? Why is it that people invent shit that never happens just to feel relevant?

At the end of the day everything is fine, and I, well ... I am doing okay for myself financially --- my life is pretty sweet. My degree is about done and I have sold an assload of MP3's and CD's, so, I guess what I am to say is simple really: THANK YOU FOR KEEPING ME SANE.
